The Bishop Peak Adopt a Crag Event is jointly sponsored by the City of San Luis Obispo, SLO-Op Climbing, and various volunteer activists. The event will include a rehabilitation project selected by the various participants.

Specific projects being considered include

1. Rehabilitation of the oak trees at the base of Cracked Wall.
2. Rehabilitation of the base of either the Peter or Chlorissa boulders.
3. Other project ideas include stabilization of the P-Wall trail, stabilization of the base of the Orange Rocks area, or construction of a climbers information sign/kiosk.

Past projects have included:

1. Trash pickup along the trails and climbing areas.
2. Trash pickup at the summit.
3. Removal of an abandoned car from one of the drainages.
